On Friday, September 9, 2022, we met with representatives of the Municipal Property Management Board (ZZK), the Board of the Society for the Beautification of Wrocław (TUMW), who were involved from the beginning in saving the installation by Arch. Leszek Zdek from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology canteen, Łukasz Wojciechowski from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, author of a book about the late architect, and Wrocław journalists who are passionate about the development of Wrocław’s urban space. During the event, we symbolically handed over the renovated square along with the sculpture, and then guided our guests through the completed Wyszyńskiego 56 investment.
A day later, on Saturday, September 10, 2022, we also invited residents and neighbors to a joint picnic. The main highlight of the meeting was a lecture by Łukasz Wojciechowski on the new sculpture. The series of events will continue with the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the work of Arch. Leszek Zdek, who designed, among other things, the well-known Wrocław ‘Mrówkowiec’ building on Drukarska Street. We invite you now to the exhibition vernissage on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the Museum of Architecture. Starting at 6:00 PM. See you there.
