Yesterday, an exceptional edition of the OVERTONE concert took place at Pod Ciśnieniem in Wrocław. The event was organized in recognition of the medical community for their fight against the coronavirus. For the distinguished guests, a composition by Bouke Groen and Renske de Boer from the Netherlands was performed by the Wrocław Academic Choir under the direction of Professor Alan Urbanek.
During the meeting, Deputy Mayor of Wrocław Jakub Mazur presented Bouke Groen with the Wrocław Super Diamond Award. This distinction is awarded to outstanding individuals from the worlds of industry, healthcare, science, art, and culture as part of the Wrocław Book of Remembrance.
A commemorative statuette for commemorating the former railway hospital was presented to Bouke Groen by the President of the Lower Silesian Medical Chamber, Paweł Wróblewski.
